Visions of Passion

“Visions of Passion”
These thoughts of you, I hold in my mind
Come and go like winds in the night
Together we are not, but
The image of you grows upon my eyes
I can still smell your perfume
Flowing in the air
I see myself wanting to hold you tight
A vision set within my eyes
Wanting to love someone like you
More ways than I know how
Watching you leave, wondering if I’ll see you again
What we had was all good, even if it was
Just my imagination
Looking down into the palm of my hands
The life line of unfilled passions
Still flows with the desire of what ifs
No longer in my sight, missing you
Like a desert flower, wanting rain
Will I ever see you again?
A memory etched in my mind
Your eyes, your lips
The way you slipped out of your high heels
The seam that run up and down the back of
Your silk stockings
The white lace embracing your womanhood
Under your white cotton dress
Yes I remember the first time I saw you
Your gracefulness, the way you walked
Wishing I could go back into time
The passions of young eyes
A young boy,
Growing into a young man
With desires
